I'm Gareth, a Sunderland-based project manager and developer. By day I lead delivery on software and digital projects. Through Wearside Web I work with local businesses to build websites that do justice to what they've built.
I started this because too many good independent businesses in the North East have websites that don't do them justice. The bar is genuinely low. Most local web design is templated, generic, or twenty years out of date. Independent businesses deserve better, and what "better" looks like doesn't need to be expensive.

I build websites that load fast, look considered, and work on every device. Each one is built from scratch in modern tools rather than dragged onto a templated platform, which means it stays yours, can grow with the business, and doesn't get slower over time.
Ongoing support
Most websites stop being useful when no one's looking after them. After your site launches I can stay on hand for small updates, content changes, and the inevitable bits that need attention. Fair monthly rate or hourly when you need it. No tie-ins.
